My work spans the arts, education, and corporate spaces, and is grounded in the power of story. I create spaces where people feel supported to speak openly, listen deeply, and connect through creativity.
I offer performances, workshops, story and talking circles, and facilitated experiences for schools, cultural institutions, and corporate partners. Drawing on over 25 years as a poet, performer, and educator, I design thoughtful, engaging experiences tailored to each audience, that center voice, encourage reflection, and build meaningful connection.

WORKSHOPS & MASTER CLASSES
Mayda has taught creative writing and performance in classrooms and community spaces ranging from college seminars to high schools and juvenile detention facilities. Her workshops center student voice and create safe, supportive environments for storytelling, exploration, and growth.

Mayda partners with iconic global brands to create memorable presentations, commissions, and facilitated experiences for client events, brand activations, and team offsites.
